How to retrieve a Toncenter API key

Overview​

When using the TON HTTP API, a token (API key) is generally not required. However, having a key removes request limitations. There are several available plans, all of which can be viewed in Toncenter mini app.

How to get a key​

To get a key, visit @toncenter, press the start button, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Telegram Bot

Press the Manage API Keys or Toncenter button to open the Telegram Mini App.

Toncenter Main Mini App

Press Create API Key.

Create API Key

Fill in the required fields and press Create. That's it! Your API key is now ready for use in requests.

How to update the subscription plan​

To update your subscription plan, follow these steps:

  • Click the MANAGE at the top of the app to open the plan selection window.
  • Choose a plan and click Purchase Subscription.
  • Send the required amount of TON to the provided address.

Troubleshooting​

If the Toncenter mini app does not work properly, your Telegram app may be outdated. Try updating Telegram and try again.
